About the artwork

A fire temple is a sanctuary of Zoroastrianism. A fire temple usually consists of a building with several smaller rooms, the holiest of which houses the sacred fire. Here various rituals are performed and sung. Fire temples are mainly found in Persia (Iran) and western India. In zoroastrianism the fire is considered a cleansing force and is identified with the truth. The first fire temples were probably built in Persia by the Achaemenides, but these are often simple sanctuaries. The Parthians also built fire temples. The flowering period of the temples was during the empire of the Sassanides. Known is the world heritage Takht-E Soleyman in northwestern Iran. With the rise of the Arab Empire and Islam, most fire temples disappeared but there are still active fire temples.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
