The Friday Mosque of Esfahan or the Masjed-e Gāmé is a mosque in Esfahan. The oldest part of the mosque dates from the end of the eighth century. The mosque has been extended several times over the centuries. The mosque was the most important mosque in Isfahan until 1630. In 2012 the mosque was added to the world heritage list by UNESCO.
