About ‘Into the light’ by Maykel Schoonus

This photo was taken in the Heumensoord forest in Nijmegen. You can see a lone hiker walking among the large, majestic trees of that forest. It is dark, but she is walking towards the light at the end of the path. Between the trees, you can still see the last rays of the sun that day and they colour the path with a soft orange glow.
The photo has a mysterious atmosphere. Perhaps it reminds you of 'the walker above the mist' by Caspar David Friedrich, or another painter from the Romantic era. This is no coincidence, as that atmosphere has also been tried to set in the picture.
The picture was taken sometime in autumn towards sunset. At that time, the light has a beautiful colour, strokes into the picture as it were and creates a beautiful, mysterious atmosphere.
Can you already see this picture hanging in your interior? It will surely bring you many admiring glances!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
