A dark and shady corner of a street inside the town walls of Panicale, a medieval walled hill town in Umbria, Italy. This is a wonderful glimpse at traditional Italian architecture with a stone built building, marble steps up to a wooden door which is in traditional style. Metal work is featured, both in the railings on the stairs but also with the window grills which include low level windows suggesting a cellar or lower floor. As always, drainpipes feature, nearly always crooked! Photo art.
