About ‘In the spotlight’ by Angela Kraan

During our holiday in Belgium, a visit to the famous town of Dinant on the Meuse was a must. We waited for the moment when the rock would be illuminated. This turned out to be at 9 pm sharp. A truly magical scene unfolded before us. What a wonderful sight to behold! Even the wind died down, creating a perfect reflection in the water. As it was difficult to capture all this beauty in a single shot, I decided to take four shots and stitch them together into a vertical panorama, so that the reflection was fully included. This had to be done in quick succession, otherwise the blue hour and the sky would change significantly. After all, I was working with long exposure times. It wasn’t until I got home that I could see whether these shots could be merged. To my great delight, it worked. As a result, so many details are visible and it has become a stunning overall image.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
