About "In the small world"

About the artwork

The painting entitled 'In the Small World' is an original on canvas created with high quality oil paints of a renowned brand, known for its first class pigments. The original oil painting has the dimensions 100 x 80 cm.

The motif comes from an inconspicuous yet charming garden taken from an allotment in the capital of Germany, Berlin. Here, nature was still allowed to flourish in its original form.

A narrow path in the foreground leads the viewer's eye through gentle, minimal curves to the back of the garden. At first, the viewer seems to walk through a tunnel of leaves.

To the left and right, yellow flowers rise cheerfully in concentrated groups, while on the ground, seemingly "weeds" grow freely and untamed. The trees and the various plant species wear a lush green dress that shines in the summer light. The eye can move through a thicket of varying densities, dipping in some places while lingering on the surface in the lighter areas.

The original photograph of the garden was taken with a smartphone and then swiftly transferred to the large-format canvas in the artist's studio.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
