A landscape of a sand dune during the sunset in the Great Salt Desert of Dasht-e Kalut in Iran. When you think of Iran, you probably don't think of desert as quickly. The desert is located in eastern Iran. The deserts in Iran are virtually uninhabited. In summer temperatures can reach 50 degrees. During sunset you see beautiful shapes, structures, lines, shadows and colors in the sand dunes. The image of the beautiful nature in Iran is executed in color and has warm light and dark brown tones and a soft blue sky. We were in Dasht-e Kalut desert during Nowruz. That is a Persian New Year and Spring festival and starts on March 21. The beginning of spring. During this period, most Iranians go on vacation, including to the desert. In the desert you will be welcomed by silence and the purity of nature and you can enjoy the view of the beautiful landscape and the tranquility. We have been there for several days.
