Imposing clay rocks on the South Island, New Zealand. Clay Cliffs at Omarara Not one of New Zealand's famous tourist attractions. These impressive high, steep rocks stand on private property. You get there on an unpaved road, open a fence yourself after you have put a few dollars in a van. You drive about 10 km., then a short walk. The early Maori came here to hunt, a beautiful area.
