"Impermanence: Lantern Decays Slowly" is a photograph of a lantern from the lantern plant that is already almost decomposed. The skeleton of the veins can be seen beautifully through this. You can see the reflection of the lantern on the textured grey-silver beige background. The soft light natural colours, among others, give this work a peaceful look, despite the warm orange colour.
The colours remind me of some old-fashioned (vintage) colours and autumn: brown (beige, taupe) and orange are the most common colours in the picture.
If you zoom in on the work and look at the lantern, you can see the texture beautifully highlighted in the light.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or just above the sofa! Also of course beautiful on the wall in a meeting room or waiting room (business)
