One of the highlights of your trip through Argentina or Brazil is undoubtedly the Iguazu Falls. In total, there are about 275 separate waterfalls that make up Iguazu Falls. The deafening sound of the waterfalls can be heard from miles away. The waterfalls are located on the border of Argentina and Brazil and you can view them from both sides. Both sides provide a different experience of the immense water mass. The Argentine side offers the opportunity to experience the waterfalls up close. From the viewing point on top of the 'Garganta del Diablo' you can feel the power up close. If you like a bit of adventure and don't mind returning home soaking wet, get on the speedboat that will literally take you under the waterfalls. To increase comfort, a train runs through the Argentinean part of the park where you can get on and off at different places. The Brazilian side offers by far the best opportunity to take the most beautiful photos. Where on the Argentinean side you mainly move on, under or over the waterfalls, on this side you will mainly be able to see the impressive overall picture.
