A coal-black plain of dark volcanic sand dotted with glittering diamond-like icebergs; Diamond Beach (Breidamerkursandur) is a photogenic location in the South of Iceland. Located about 800 metres from the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, it is known for the icebergs that wash up like diamonds on the dark beach.
