About the artwork

This ibex male suddenly loomed up during a long hike in foggy conditions during my trip in Switzerland. What a fantastic reward after a long climb with your camera bag on your back. He stayed quiet and did not bother us, though he did keep a close eye on the rest of the herd. This hike went over the Augstmatthorn and promised beautiful views of Brienzersee, a lake with a bright blue-green colour. It was incredibly unfortunate that it was so foggy that day because we saw virtually nothing of it. But for this work, I think the mist is just right. The white background is calm and all the focus goes to the animal. The colours are also calm and so this work fits into almost any interior, whether framed or on photo wallpaper.

The ibex fascinates with its ability to survive in the steepest and most inaccessible mountain areas. Its impressive, curved horns and powerful silhouette make it a symbol of the Alps. The way it moves effortlessly over narrow rocky ridges evokes admiration and highlights its exceptional adaptability to mountain life. For many people, the ibex is an embodiment of freedom and balance in nature, an animal that exudes calm in a harsh environment. Its presence in the Alps brings a sense of adventure and reinforces the idea of a pristine and wild world.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
