About the artwork
"I wish..... (a dandelion with turquoise background)" is a macro photo of a fluff ball of a dandelion. The turquoise background makes it easy to see the fluff of the fluff ball as it creates a contrast between dandelion and background). A shallow depth of field was chosen, creating a dreamy atmosphere as you "look through" the front fluff. This creates a kind of blurred white veil over the bulb. It also gives the work a sense of depth. Some of the seeds of the fluff ball (which is the focus of the work) are very nicely detailed. The fluffy seeds on the outside of bulb are also sharp in this line. And this creates a nice drawing of the outer edge with fluff. Association: calm, zen, nature, abstract, romantic, love, fluff, homely, cosy, champagne colour, spring This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, kitchen, hall or just above the sofa!
