About the artwork

I Believe In Angels ...

I spent a week in Romania in the winter of 2011.
The goal was to make here especially blackand white pictures where this area lends itself perfectly to.
In the foothills of the Carpathians at the site Visue de Sus you find an area in which time seems to have stood still 100 years !.
Here live and work the workers of forestry.
Transporting the logs are still old-fashioned steam trains.
This railway has been around since 1932.
It has the name "The Vaser Valley Railway" but is also known under the name "Wassertalbahn"
This railway is 6 days a week in use and is the only railroad in Europe that is still used for timber transport.
It was a very special week with many photographic highlights.
This steam train was perfect with the sun setting behind the screen.
It earned an almost mystical image of an Angel with the light behind her wings.
With photo software I created the image softer and more emphasis on the light behind her wings so that the particular picture has become.
I Believe in Angels ...
In time I will add more photos to my shop this unique journey.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
