About the artwork

Eye-to-eye with whales: always a beautiful moment. From a photographic point of view, it is of course a pity that you can always only capture part of that enormous body. Or you have to descend into their world with all the necessary equipment. However, that is a totally different branch of sport. Doing a boat trip, where special attention is paid to these colossal animals, is of course also possible. From Husavík, in northern Iceland, for example. Usually, such activities are quite popular and so it can be crowded. Before the departure, they hoist you in a survival suit, a padded suit to withstand the cold. You cannot play around with various lenses as soon as a whale is reported, the crowd shifts from starboard to port or vice versa. The conditions for photographing whales are certainly not ideal. But when a whale is spotted, in this case a humpback, it's a matter of getting your pictures taken. Not every time that big tail comes up, something like that only happens when the animal dives, Iceland is a developed country and tourism acts as a major pillar of the economy. Very strange then that such'a country still engages in whaling....

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
