The hummingbirds in Costa Rica feel right at home there, they love nectar in the flowers. There are as many as 52 species in Costa Rica, some more beautiful than others and a photographer's paradise. Absolutely not shy so can be photographed very closely. I was able to photograph these near San Gerardo de Dota.

I travelled the world as a photographer and made many photography trips. My preference lies with Nature and Landscape Photography, but in the winter months, I enjoy working with Visual Art or High-speed Photography. A technique that requires a lot of patience and technical insight.
