About the artwork

The Hoorneboegse Heide is a beautiful nature reserve located in the heart of the Gooi region. It is an area of about 350 hectares and is known for its vast heathlands, forests and fens. It is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The area has undergone major refurbishment in recent years and various measures have been taken to protect and preserve its nature. For instance, several walking and cycling paths have been constructed and a grazing area for sheep and cattle has been created. Active work is also being done to remove exotic plants and restore the heathland. The area has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. At that time, the moor was used as common grazing land for local farmers and as a peat extraction area. In the 19th century, the area was transformed into a country estate, but after World War II it was owned by the municipality of Hilversum. Today, the Hoorneboegse Heide is a place where people can enjoy the beautiful nature and find peace from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The area offers numerous opportunities for relaxation and recreation and is a valuable piece of greenery in the region.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
