The reformed church in Den Hoorn (municipality of Texel) is a church building from 1425 with a white tower. The church is now on the northern edge of the village. However, it used to be in the centre; many houses in this village have been demolished in recent centuries (after the heyday of piloting ships) due to vacancy.
A floodlight is fixed on the balustrade of the church tower to serve as a beacon for shipping on the Schulpengat.
My husband ( Arie Lok ) and I are both fanatical photographers so we regularly go out together to photograph beautiful landscapes, animals, birds and actually everything that is beautiful.
