The beginning of night (blue hour) in the metropolis of Hong Kong, one of the most densely populated areas on earth. More than 7 million people live in this small rocky city-state.
Here you can see the skyline from the West (near Victoria Peak) with a large amount of artificial light. In the foreground you can see the Central and Admiralty area, to the right behind Lee Garden and Causeway Bay. On the other side of the water is Kowloon.
Walking around Hong Kong is a unique experience, there is a lot of height difference and extremely tall towers have been built everywhere to make maximum use of the scarce space. Here, you see the city as a whole and that feeling does not come across as well. At the same time, you can still clearly see how enormously built-up this area is.
