My artistry is self-expression. The biggest source of inspiration? The environment around me. I love drawing en plein air (often with gouache) and in the colder months I take pictures of recognisable locations to be able to draw them in my studio. Familiar places often feature in my autonomous illustration projects, such as the picture book 'A turtle in the canal!' (Viewable at annevree.com)
