This artwork I painted with a big dose of guts and love. And so Holly's half face was created enveloped in an explosion of pink and red hues.
Holly wears a bright red beret, as if to say, "Bonjour, but with attitude." The thick layers of paint, and while doing so, I used acrylic markers and the Palette knife making the whole thing even more tangible. You can almost feel the colours splashing off the canvas.
