Autumn symbolises letting go, a season when nature retreats. With this sculpture, I choose a different perspective: the leaves have fallen, but I hold on to the beauty. By holding this one maple leaf and bringing it inside, I give it a lasting place. The mosaic filter I put over the photo emphasises this feeling. Like a mosaic, autumn can feel fragile, but bringing the pieces together creates something new and beautiful.
This photo is an ode to nature's subtlety. The hand holding the yellow-green leaf against a dark background forms a powerful and personal image. The simple composition and the focus on the leaf make the photo a point of tranquillity in any space. It adds a unique, artistic element that invites the viewer to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the moment.
Because of its minimalist look and strong contrast, this wall decoration fits perfectly into a modern or Scandinavian interior. It brings warmth and a personal touch to the home, and the deep, dark tones give the photo a sophisticated look that lets the colours of the leaf speak for themselves.
