Traditional folk art is characterised by an emphasis on the depiction of ordinary people, animals or landscapes. The aesthetic aspect of traditional folk art is often characterised by a sense of warmth, cosiness and nostalgia. It evokes images of a simpler era, when everyday life was characterised by commonality and tradition. The artworks often exude a sense of craftsmanship, with great attention paid to the details and finishing. In the case of this artwork featuring the deer, I. took inspiration from the aesthetics of traditional folk art. The simple and classic depiction of the deer, combined with the decorative details and the use of soft colours, helps to create a soothing and warm atmosphere and will be a true eye-catcher in your space.
