About ‘Historic windmill near Kockengen’ by Erwin Pilon
The old windmill near the Utrecht town of Kockengen was built in 1675 and was still in use until around 1960 to keep the polder dry.
A full reed belt grows along the water. On this early morning it is almost windless. This produces a beautiful reflection of the mill in the water.

Photography and hiking are two big hobbies of mine. And when I go hiking, the camera always goes with me. The (Dutch) landscapes are different every time and never get boring.
