About the artwork

Painting/digital Art of a historic harbour at the end of the day in the last century in impressionist style.

In the middle of the last century, seaports for sailing ships were often located in busy maritime areas around the world. An example is the port of Amsterdam, which was a major hub for trade and shipping at the time. The harbour was busy with all kinds of ships, including sailing ships and steamships. The quays were alive with dock workers, sailors and merchants bringing in and out goods. The sailing ships, moored along the quays, and the crews were busy loading and unloading goods such as timber, grain, textiles and other merchandise. The port itself had to have various facilities, such as warehouses for storing goods, shipyards for repairs, and possibly even markets where merchants could sell their wares. The atmosphere in such'a historic seaport was steeped in activity and adventure, with ships arriving and departing from distant lands, and the exchange of goods and cultures typical of the time.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
