About the artwork

The picture shows a close-up of an iris of the Country Manor variety. The petals are predominantly white, interspersed with fine veins and yellow accents that become denser towards the centre. The bright yellow "beard" in the centre of the flower is particularly striking - a characteristic feature of this iris variety. The details of the flower structure are clearly emphasised by the soft light and the targeted focussing.

The inspiration for this image was the combination of clarity and complexity that characterises this variety. I was interested in how the bright colours could be combined with the multi-layered shapes of the flower. The aim was to visualise this balance in a calm but precise image detail.

The atmosphere I want to create with this work is bright, reduced and at the same time lively. It invites you to engage with the subtle differences in structure and colour - a visual pause.

In interior design, this picture acts as a discreet but effective accent. It adds lightness, floral elegance and subtle depth, particularly in minimalist or natural rooms.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
