Johann Coenraad Hermann Heijenbrock (Amsterdam, 27 July 1871 - Blaricum, 18 March 1948) was a painter of labour, trade and industry.
After training at the drawing academy in Rotterdam, he recorded the development of heavy industry in many European countries in the first decades of the 20th century. He was the 'painter of light and labour'. The depictions of factories, mines, machines and the role of the worker in the production process, he also produced to document his admiration for man's labour power, aided by machines.
