About ‘Heidi & Peter: Pure Black Forest idyll’ by Ingo Laue

No couple symbolises the pure, unadulterated love of the mountains and countryside quite like Heidi and Peter. In this fabulous reinterpretation, the pair are transformed into charming Black Forest sheep who, with their innocent gaze and perfect traditional costume, go straight to the heart.

Heidi is dressed in a magnificently embroidered dirndl and wears an authentic Black Forest Bollenhut – the region’s quintessential symbol. Peter, her faithful companion, is every bit as charming: he wears a checked jacket, traditional lederhosen with intricate embroidery and a proper hunter’s hat. His outfit is completed by a rustic milk churn, whilst Heidi holds a basket full of fresh meadow flowers. The deliberate cropping against a neutral, white background leaves no room for distractions and places the absolute focus on the craftsmanship, the meticulously detailed clothing and the stoic, loving expressions of the two sheep. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
