About "Heart of a sunflower"

About the artwork

A sunflower with a green heart, I hadn't seen it very often. But this sunflower Sunrich Gold has it and I have to be honest, maybe I like it better than a brown heart.

I love sunflowers (Helianthus annuus). In a vase, but preferably in a field full of yellow, sunny flowers. All of which more or less simultaneously show a yellow bud, open and shrivel to make way for seeds in the heart of the flower.

This flower was in a vase at my house. In one of those bouquets of 10. But secretly von thick this one was the most beautiful. No idea why.

The photo shows the perfection of the flower. The yellow bracts on the outside that stand in a few collars one after the other around the real flowers. And then the heart, which starts green and gradually turns into yellow flowers from the outside.

Slowly, the edge gets bigger and the green gets smaller. And all those thousands of flowers neatly lined up in circles around each other become sunflower seeds in just such a beautiful pattern.

Not every heart is going to bloom completely. And if it doesn't, some part of the centre will remain green and there will soon be no seeds in the middle.

But now many more will open up through warmth and light. A real summer feast on one sturdy stem.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
