This beautiful bird of prey, the marsh harrier, flies here against the dark background of the forest. The early morning sun shines very nicely on its head and wings, making it stand out beautifully against the trees of the forest in the background. With its sharp gaze, it scans the surroundings in search of prey. Frogs, mice and moles are on the menu. With my camera on a tripod, I stand at a great distance waiting for this beautiful moment when the harrier flies by. With my large lens, I can get him beautifully close, without disturbing him while hunting. With great patience, and in full concentration, I wait for the moment when he suddenly flies by, and have to be quick because he has flown by in the blink of an eye. Photographing these large birds is not easy, but wonderful to do, it is a joy every time a harrier appears in the picture, and I manage to capture it photographically beautifully. This atmospheric photo of the harrier is a beautiful picture for the wall!
