Recently, I experimented with splash photography.
This involves dropping objects into a liquid, coloured or otherwise. By being mindful of your camera settings, you can freeze the movement and often get splashy and surprising results. Here is a beautiful result in shades of pink, blue and lilac. It looks like a crown like this. A nice touch is that you can see the glass bowl reflected in the liquid on the ground. From that, but also from the splashes in the background, you can see that the first attempt was not immediately successful. But I just like seeing that.
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
