About ‘Hanoi: Eenzuilige Pagode’ by Maarten Verhees

De Eenzuilige Pagode (Chùa Mot Cot) is een historische boeddhistische tempel in Hanoi. Naast de Parfumtempel wordt deze tempel als één van de twee meest iconische tempels beschouwd. De houten pagode werd in 1949 gebouwd onder keizer Ly Thy Tong. Zoals uit de naam blijkt, is de Chùa Mot Cot gebouwd op één zuil die in een elegante lotusvijver staat. Volgens de legende verscheen Quan Am, de godin van de genade, in een droom aan de keizer, die geen troonopvolger had. Gezeten op een lotusbloem overhandigde ze Ly Thai Tong een jongetje. Korte tijd later trouwde de keizer een jonge vrouw, een nieuwe keizerin, die een zoon ter wereld bracht. Uit dankbaarheid liet de keizer de Eenzuilige Pagode bouwen, evenals een lotusbloem in een vijver.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
