"Half a shell on water drops" is a macro photo of a shell found on the beach at Domburg (Zeeland, Netherlands). This cream - beige shell ( the white drilling mussel ) was photographed only for a small part. As a result, on the left side the shell fills the frame and on the right side you can see the water drops vaguely in the background. The structure of the shell is nicely visible on the picture, which makes it feel very natural.
This work has a calming atmosphere. I think this is mainly due to the calm colours and natural look.
