"A half ball thistle" is a macro photo of the flower (in the shape of a bulb) of a ball thistle with a kind of beige - taupe blended background. Like the dandelion and Tragopogon, the bullet thistle (Echninops) belongs to the Composite family (Asteraceae).
The small flower-like "dots" on the thistle bulb give it a beautiful effect in the photo.
When making this work, I chose a small depth of field. This means that the sharpness (which lies on the front "flowers") gradually decreases in this work and the back "flowers" fade away. This creates a calm atmosphere in the picture and at the same time creates a sense of depth in the work. If you zoom in on the work, you can see this beautifully.
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration in, for example, the bedroom, kitchen, dining room or just above the sofa! Obviously also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
