About ‘Gulf Porsche RCR 917 Le Mans’ by Thomas Boudewijn

A Petrolhead dream.

The Gulf Porsche RCR 917 is a legendary racing car that gained immense motorsport fame during the late 1960s and early 1970s. The RCR 917 was an evolution of the dominant Porsche 917, and was adorned with the iconic Gulf livery, featuring the distinctive blue and orange colours.

This striking visual aesthetic, combined with the exceptional engineering of the Porsche 917, solidified its status as an iconic machine, notably winning the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans. It remains a timeless symbol of racing power and design excellence.

The photo was shot using the FDL Technique. (focused diffused lighting) to eliminate distractions like unwanted reflections and focus on the design.

The photo consists of multiple exposures of the car which are merged together on the computer.

For this image I chose to extend the background using generative A.I.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
