A photo of a Grey Canada Goose just lifting 1 leg. The photo has been edited so that it has a nice even soft color.
The Canada Goose is a bird of the duck family (Anatidae).
This species is found on lakes, meadows and marshes. Its breeding range includes Canada, Alaska, Sweden and England.
These predominantly herbivorous birds spend the night on the water and feed during the day, both on the water and on land. Their food consists mainly of grasses, seeds and grains. Incidentally, it has been observed that they also consume animal foods such as the eggs of the common tern (Sterna hirundo), flies (Ephydra hians) and shellfish such as the common snipe (Macoma balthica).
I am a hobby photographer, just because I like to take nice photos!
For nature and animals in all its forms!..
