Green mountains and blue lakes in Switzerland by Yara Terpsma

Switzerland, a world in between. A country with many identities and influences, yet a strong and independent character. A place where people tend to look out only for themselves and where neutrality is held in high esteem. During my visit, I found no evil scientists deep in the Alps, or dairy cows strolling through all the streets. What I did encounter was an enormous amount of pure natural beauty. Mountains that take your breath away and lakes that make you wonder where the sky begins and the earth ends. All shapes and colors of blue and green reflected off the snowy peaks to shine even brighter. The endless waterfalls transform you into a fantasy world in itself. Not crazy to think that movies like the Lord of the Rings found their inspiration in this special place.

While looking at the pictures you are transported to a calm place, in the distance you only hear the soft tinkling of a cowbell. No highways, no people, no stress.
