About the artwork

This artwork may look like an abstract painting, but it is actually a photograph!

The texture and structure make this an interesting image. The shape almost looks a bit like a map. Because of the natural colours; green and brown, it may remind you of a forest, or of nature. Perhaps it instinctively provides some connection to nature. Despite being colourful, it does exude calm and warmth. Thus, it will suit your living room as well as your bedroom.

This image is a detail shot of a weathered piece of wall, photographed in Asia. Due to weathering, many walls are subject to moisture, erosion and overgrowth of organisms. At first, you think these walls need a fresh lick of paint. But when you look closer, you see what kind of beauty is actually hidden in this impermanence. Colours fade, blend or flake off, and mosses begin to take on a life of their own, reviving colourfully after a heavy rain.

As one local put it very nicely; "These walls are alive, and painted by nature". Wonderful!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
