Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

My name is Russell Hinckley and I'm from Sheffield in England, and since 1992 Iliving in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands.

From 2007 I followed courses at De Vrije Academie in Vlaardingen for about 5 years. Via the basic course drawing and painting I ended up with a preference for painting.

I started working in acrylic paint but pretty soon I discovered that I preferred painting in oil paint. Sometimes I experiment with different thicknesses and mix the paint…
