All of us throw away quite a few items and materials in the trash. As much as possible, I try to see the usefulness and beauty of waste. What can I do myself to produce less waste.
During my breakfast, I stare at the empty tea bag on the kitchen counter. My mind is in creative mode. What can I do with it.
I can use the tea leaves as food for my plants in the vegetable garden. And the bag , once dried I can use as a background in a mixed media project.
I cut off a leaf from my peperromia that is enjoying the sun on the windowsill
I tear off a piece of cardboard from the wrapper of a six-pack of beer. I wrap the leaf around the string of the tea bag. So all together on the sofa.
Look, what a beautiful whole. Satisfied, I take another sip of tea.
