The great-veined white is found in large parts of Europe, including in the Netherlands as a wanderer. In Belgium, the species has disappeared in Flanders, but occurs south in Wallonia. Nevertheless, the species is on the Dutch Red List as disappeared. The butterfly flies from 500 to 2000 metres in mountainous areas. It has no specific requirements for its environment and can therefore be found anywhere. The flight time is from April to July. source wikipedia .
