In the 1980's I lived in flayosc , and took many pictures there as I painted them later and still do, was a very nice time to be there. Also Gordes where the Victor Vasereli museum is the big building on the mountains houses are stuck to the mountain, not far from Flayosc

My name is Anthony van Gelder, born in 1945 in Zalk, Overijssel. I started at the Vrije Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague in 1969. Four years later I went to the academy in Rotterdam. Since 1972 I work as an independent artist from my studio in Schiedam. In 1980 I moved to Flayosc in the South of France. It was an inspiring place to paint.
