Golden aura - woman sitting on the ground

by Emiel de Lange

This painting exudes a sensual and dreamy atmosphere, in which the female form is central. The artwork is painted in an expressive, almost impressionistic style, with powerful brushstrokes and a dynamic structure. The artist works with a rich palette of warm earth tones - deep browns and sepia colours - punctuated by vibrant golden accents. These golden lines snake gracefully around the figure, giving the work an almost magical, ethereal feel.

The woman, sitting on the ground with her eyes closed and arms above her head, radiates calm and surrender. Her pose is sensual but at the same time subdued; it feels as if she is fully immersed in an inner world or a moment of deep relaxation. The use of light and shadow subtly emphasises her forms, keeping the composition elegant and refined.

The golden brushstrokes dancing around her body suggest energy, movement or even a spiritual aura. They seem to be both part of her and the space around her, making the painting a poetic interplay between body and soul, between tangible and intangible.

In terms of emotion, this artwork evokes feelings of warmth, serenity and intimacy. It invites contemplation and brings a certain mystical beauty to any room where it is hung. Ideal for lovers of modern figurative art with a touch of symbolism and a luxurious, timeless look.
