About "Girl with the pearl earring - make over"

About the artwork

As if living in the present time, the girl with the pearl has had a make over. She has put in brown contact lenses (look good on her). In addition, she traded in her pearl for a more fashionable model. She put on her red lips a little thicker. As if it were not enough, she has adorned her kerchief with flowers. If Johannes Vermeer would have known all this! This canker is unique in this version and fits into any modern interior.

About the image maker: as a born and raised Amsterdammer, Peter feels a close connection to the city of Amsterdam. Over the years he has produced a lot of work, not only of Amsterdam, but also other cities at home and abroad fill his portfolio. Landscape and macro photography are also part of his work.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
