These Ginkgo leaves are a mixed media print and were created through a unique creative process using acrylic paint and a gel plate. The Ginkgo leaves are printed in the gel plate. This print was then photographed on a glass plate with a special lighting technique, thus creating a mixed media image. This nature image has a lot of eloquence. Tranquility is what the image radiates. The Ginkgo/Japanese walnut leaf is very popular because of its characteristic shape and is an inspiration for many artists. The Ginkgo tree symbolizes immutability, hope, love, magic, timelessness and long life.
