Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Getting to Beach is the Real Adventure’ by Lowly Planet

Embark on an unforgettable coastal expedition in Sciacca! Forget boring paved pathways to the sea—here, getting to the beach is an exhilarating obstacle course. Watch young adventurers navigate mountains of rubble and trash bags before diving into the Mediterranean waves. Enhanced with digital manipulation and AI, this scene proves that true seaside fun requires a bit of survival instinct.

Part of the Sickily series for the Lowly Planet shop, this piece subverts traditional travel marketing. While ordinary brochures promise pristine paradise, we celebrate the true Mediterranean experience: uncollected rubbish, halted construction, and municipal inertia. Designed as a satirical travel guide, this series invites discerning travelers to embrace the absurdities and broken infrastructure of everyday life.
