Gdańsk Futuristic City – A green future by the water by Eric Nagel

This striking poster depicts a visionary interpretation of the historic city of Gdańsk in a sustainable future. Traditional brick buildings and familiar harbour structures blend here with modern architecture, green skyscrapers and innovative transport systems. The city appears vibrant, clean and technologically advanced – characterised by nature, water and urban elegance. Particularly fascinating is the combination of past and future: whilst iconic buildings evoke the rich history of the Hanseatic city, vertical gardens, solar roofs and wind turbines symbolise sustainable urban development. Floating vehicles and modern water transport systems point to new mobility concepts, the initial stages of which are already being researched today. Cities such as Singapore and Copenhagen are regarded as models for such ‘smart cities’, where the environment and technology coexist in harmony. The fresh green tones of the plants, combined with the clear blue of the water and sky, create an inspiring and optimistic atmosphere. This poster is perfect for modern living spaces, offices, architecture studios or co-working spaces where innovation and forward thinking take centre stage. It also makes a strong statement about progress and sustainability in conference rooms or entrance areas. An ideal piece of art for anyone who loves visions, urban planning and modern design.
