About "Gathering of the Curious"

About the artwork

Icelandic horses are amazing. They are a unique endemic species with a lot of heart and character and a great deal of curiosity.

When I took this photo, I had already driven many kilometres on a rocky dirt road with m'n old Toyota. My goal was to photograph Gannets at eye level, but the spot that had been recommended to me unfortunately did not offer that option after all. On the way back, I had seen quite a few horses but they were all in the pasture surrounded by a fence. However, this rebellious group was outside the fence and they were standing on and beside the road. The fence turned out to be open and the horses had seen their chance.

I opened my door and soon the horses came to take a look. They spontaneously started licking my salt-flavoured car, but they also cheekily poked their heads into the car. Great. Eventually, I got out to take a few photos's and I thought these were very successful. I think the beauty and character of the horses is well represented in this image and it is actually immediately clear that this photo was taken in Iceland.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
