There is nothing like mist at sunrise on a beautiful spring morning. I love these very early mornings where you don't run the risk of some dog running away with your tripod on its back ( this has happened...several times), when all is silent, the world is asleep but nature is awake. I love the sounds of these early spring mornings, without any of the human noise we tend to hear doing daytime. The light was very soft on this misty morning as I was busy reconnecting to my roots by photographing uprooted trees. The way these trees seem to almost float above the ground and still be so alive is a true credit to their adaptation to their surroundings and their will to survive. It is very hard to stay sad when you see something like this
