Svarfaðardalur is a valley close to Dalvik in northern Iceland. It is a beautiful green nature reserve with pointed mountains covered in snow.

This photo was taken during a hike on one of the surrounding mountains. The photo captures the interplay between the sun, clouds and falling rain.
